亚洲文学与文化系列讲座
UM - ONE ASIA FOUNDATION SEMINAR SERIES：

日本“一个亚洲基金会”成立后，从2010年开始直接拨款赞助亚洲重点大学在校内举办“一个亚洲”系列讲座，希望通过大学课程或讲座系列有效的管道，让年轻学子对本土文化有更深入的了解，对亚洲共同体的未来发展有更全面的认识。这是一项意义深远的文化建设工程，在促进亚洲年轻一代对本土与整个亚洲多元语言、历史、文化等层面的认识都很有实质的帮助。

马来亚大学于2015年获得“一个亚洲基金会”的赞助，由马来西亚华人研究中心和中文系执行，目前已经成立工作团队，预计在2015年3月至7月期间，举办一系列“亚洲文学与文化”讲座，广邀国内外专家学者前来演讲，并于2015年7月4日至5日举办“亚洲文学与文化”国际学术研讨会，作为本期系列讲座的结束。

2016年，马大马来西亚华人研究中心与中文系获得日本一个亚洲基金的第二期经费，举办第二期的“亚洲文化传播与接收”系列学术讲座。主办单位将邀请来自国内外的学者与作家到马大演讲，进行为期一年共15场讲座。

One Asia Foundation is an organization from Tokyo, Japan which aims to contribute to the establishment of Asian Community in the future. One Asia Foundation started the project of financially supporting higher education institutions to have courses on Asian Community four years ago, in September 2010, and now the project has covered 305 colleges/universities in 36 countries/regions.

In Year 2015, One Asia Foundation has granted US$35,000.00 (around RM125000) to University of Malaya for organizing a series of seminars to promote “One Asia” culture which focuses on arts and humanity. In conjunction with this funding and goal, we had organized “UM-One Asia Foundation Seminar Series”, which contain 15 seminars and 1 conference from March to July 2015.

In Year 2016, One Asia Foundation has granted US$28,000.00 to University of Malaya for organizing a series of seminars to promote "One Asia" culture which emphasizes on the propagation and integration of Asia community culture. In conjunction with this funding and goal, we have planned second phase of "UM-One Asia Foundation Seminar Series", includes various seminars, workshops and conference that will be held from January to October 2016.
